This 2 CEU suicide prevention workshop will focus on a process for readying therapists, and becoming ready, to work with suicide and grief. Through a process of training where counselors can harness their inner struggles and discomfort, they are able to facilitate better connections, assessments, and interventions with clients. Participants will reflect on their own ideas of suicide and grief, along with what it could mean for them to hold space for intense emotion in an intentional and effective way.
